WELCOME TO OUR RANCH & HOME

We are the Aldrich Family. As you can tell, by our pictures, we are equine lovers and so are our children. We raise Quarter Horses and Australian Shepherds. Team Roping is a large part of our lives and due to that fact we also raise Longhorn Coriente cross cattle, mostly used for roping in our arena at home. With the cattle, horses and puppies our children are always waiting for new babies to arrive.

**Our puppies are farm and family loved with their best care in mind. We guarantee that the puppies will have plenty of playtimes with our children. The Aussi breed is suitable for many different styles of living from indoors to country life. Australian Shepherds are very quick, intelligent, charismatic, loving and protective of their family. Males tend mature out to 70-85 pounds and our females will mature out around 35-50 pounds. Our puppies are wormed on a 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 week schedule; momma is wormed during these times as well. All of our puppies are given puppy parvo at 6 weeks of age, ear mites preventive starting at 5 weeks, Bio Spot at 6 weeks and 10 weeks, Giardia/ Coccidia preventive at 6-7 weeks and 12 weeks and prior to shipping your puppy receives a bath, nail trim and sports a new collar and name tag.**

If you would like to receive more information about any of our horses for sale, we can video or email more pictures to you. Horses have been part of our lives for many years now. Breeding in the spring, roping in the summer and fall, working the young horses in the winter; it's all part of loving what you do. We enjoy taking weekend trips to Wilson Creek National Battlefield and State Historic site to go horseback ridding with our two children. We also enjoy riding the rougher terrain of the Ozark Mountains at Piney Wilderness area; the kids can't ride there yet.

Our arena in front of our house is where you will most often find us riding. This is where the practicing takes place for team roping, ranch rodeos, family rodeos, and training on the young horses. We invite you to take a look at what the Rocking Hearts Ranch has to offer for you, from horses to puppies, we're sure you'll find our stock of great quality. Please enjoy our warmest welcome to our blogspot.

Thank You and God Bless,
The Aldrich Family

2008 Ranch Rodeo Updates

2008 Lucky 7 Ranch Rodeo Team
Our 2008 summer season is slowly comming to an end, with the cooler evenings and the shorter days Fall is definatley here. You can ask any Ranch Rodeo team and they will tell you it is a lot easier to enjoy getting dirty and working hard when it isn't so very hot, but with the cooler temperatures comes more fustrations with livelier livestock.
Our boys did very well this year and we had lots of family fun too! Our "Lucky 7" team consists of David Aldrich, Jared Walker, Will Wilson, Delbert Helton and Riley Ogden. From wrestling rangey cattle to sort off waspy steers- these boys have seen and done it all this year. Thanks to the our heavenly Father, no one was seriously injured this year and we are praying for a safe 2009 season already!

Most of the Ranch Rodeos we attended had Cattle Sorting, Pasture Team Roping, Branding, Trailer Loading and Steer Mugging ( we prefer to attend the Ranch Rodeos where the events are all cattle based). Please enjoy some of the pics we have that shocase our boys and our families in action. May God bless you as much as He has all of us.

Have a wonderful Day and God Bless,
The Aldrich Family and "Lucky 7 Ranch Rodeo Family"

God's Grace Is Abundant

In Missouri our weather is always changing and with that we are constantly reminded of God's mercy, grace and power.

Please enjoy the pictures of the wildlife and skies of the Ozark Mountain area around our home. We are blessed everyday by the beauty God has made for us.
